Sample & Hold

A Sample & Hold virtual circuit that will readreads an input in real time (external or internal) and taketakes a "snapshot" of this input every timewhenever it receives a trigger signal. This snapshot is a fixed value that will be output until a new "snapshot" is taken.

On any page of the S&H modulator there ismodulator, a visual display toprovides roughlya rough outline of the source signal and the sampled value.

What you seen inOn the real-time chart displayed on the screen, is the input source (greyedis outshown in background)a andfaded background, while the sampled output appears in black.

The trigger parameter gothas a littlesmall indicator that illuminateslights whenup whenever a trigtrigger signal is received.

The signal to be sampled can be internal noise, any CV input, any modulators from any voice or global,global sources, Macros, or even any Voice output,output. plusAdditionally, it includes a selection of MIDI parameters (such as Velocity, Key Follow, AfterTouchAftertouch, and ModWheel).ModWheel.	The S&H can be any triggered by any of the Gate inputs, the Voice trigger, or avarious selectiondivisions and multiplications of the MIDI clock divisions or multiplications.clock.
