ADSR (todo)
General information
What's and adsr ?
Note that every parameter of the envelope can be modulated, except for the ones in the Settings tab
The ADSR tab has two pages that you can navigate by pressing its corresponding button (button 1)
Page 1 lets you modify (and modulate) the envelope times:
Attack | Decay | Sustain | Release |
Set the time it takes for the envelope to reach its highest level, after the gate goes high (or the key is pressed in the case of MIDI) |
Set the time it takes for the envelope to go down to the Sustain level, after the Attack stage is completed and while the gate remains high (or the key stays pressed in the case of MIDI) | Set the level at which the envelope will stay as long as the gate is high (or while the key stays pressed in the case of MIDI) | Set the time it takes for the envelope to go back to its lowest level, after the gate goes low (or the key is released in the case of MIDI) If the gate goes low before the Decay (or Attack) stage is completed, the envelope will directly start the Release stage from the level it was at when the gate went low, effectively skipping the Sustain stage (or the Decay and Sustain stages) |
Page 2 lets you modify (and modulate) the envelope curves:
Curve A | Curve B | - | Curve C |
Set the curve of the Attack stage, from Logarithmic to Linear to Exponential |
Set the curve of the Decay stage, from Exponential to Linear to Logarithmic | - | Set the curve of the Decay stage, from Exponential to Linear to Logarithmic |
